reFRACTion can optimize and troubleshoot your sound reinforcement system
with SIA's SmaartLive program, an audio/acoustical measurement and analysis
software. SmaartLive allows us to pinpoint problematic areas [such as
phase issues] within your sound system and improve coherence through
signal processing. This software utilizes FFT technology. Fast Fourier
Transform is a mathematical technique used to transform time domain
data into frequency domain data. The term "fast" refers to the fact
that when the number of time domain samples is a power of 2 the calculations
can be performed very quickly by a digital computer.
